Bass player is a guy called bruce lett. I could tell you the artist, keyboard player, who's album it is but that might give it away, I'm not sure. Although I wouldn't think he's a well known name.
I'll give you a clue : he's not the president and it's not steve holmes. =)
Would it be James Bradley Jr? He was hot around that time with Chuck Mangione, and those triplet rolls down the melodic toms remind me of him.

I'll give you a mild clue; he's definitely one of todays top drummers, not a drummer left behind in the 80's. I don't where he would rank, probably top 20, possibly top 10, I'm not sure.
He's one of those names that you all know so well
yet he isn't talked about as much as the other guys we always talk about.
